Paddlers joining kayaking trips organised by individual OSKA members should be aware that they are responsible for their own safety. Neither OSKA nor the individual organisers accept responsibility for other paddlers or for instructing them as part of the trip.

? VHF Course

Ansgar was asking about the possibility of arranging a further VHF course.

If Freddie is happy to do another course under the same arrangements, the course cost would be fixed and split between the participants (max 6)
So ideally, we would need 6 definites to make it cost effective.
There is also a small fee for the licence itself.

If insufficient numbers are available within OSKA, we could open it up to KKC

A VHF licence is a legal requirement to operate a Marine 2 way VHF but licence is valid for life.
